Overview
The TPT overview report contains in its default setting the following information:
Summary pie chart
Displays in percentage how many of the tested items have passed, were inconclusive, failed, or triggered execution errors. In case of reclassified test results, a second pie chart is displayed that shows the pie chart with the reclassified results (see Test Assessment - Reclassify Test Results).
Below the summary pie chart, information about the test execution is listed like the name of the file, the TPT version used, and the name of the tester.
Lists the amount of test cases with the test cases status New, In progress, To be reviewed, and Stable. Changing the test case status is described in Test Management - Edit the Status Types.
Platform information
Displays the execution platform type, variables, parameter set and the mapping used.
If there is no parameter set file specified, no variable to log in the report, no MATLAB platform used, and/or no mapping configured, this section is omitted in the report.
Test case summary
This summary contains the following information:
- name of the test case
- result
- ID of the test case
- date and time of execution
- date and time of assessment
- duration of trial
- test case status (here called Revision Status)
- link to the relevant data of the test case (Directory)
- comment to the test case if you have wrote one
- details of the test case attribute you have selected in the advanced report settings
Assesslet summary
Displays the name of the used assesslet and if it passed, failed, was inconclusive, or caused an execution error. Also the total amount of places where this assesslet was active is shown.
If you use Compare steps in a step list, the name of the variant is given and in brackets the state where this Compare step has been active is named.
Assessment variable summary
Displays the name of the assessment variables and if they passed, were inconclusive, or failed. Also the total amount of usage is given. Assessment variables are used for the test evaluation. More about the assessment variables, see Assessment Variables.
To limit the size of the report it can be useful to limit the amount of displayed variables. This can be done using the advanced report options. See for more information.
Requirement Coverage Summary
Tells you how many requirements are linked (directly or indirectly) to test cases, how many requirements are passed, failed, inconclusive, not covered, or were linked to a test case (directly or indirectly) that was ended by an execution error.
